SECURITY RESOURCES Training Academy’s Department of Civilian Self-Defense is dedicated to the multi-faceted areas of Civilian Self-Defense.

From Hand-to-Hand Martial Techniques to Firearms, and most everything in between, we have self-defense courses to fit our students comfort and aptitude levels.

Presented-by SECURITY RESOURCES Training Academy’s Department of Civilian Self-Defense, our Introduction-to-Rifle Orientation course is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific rifle action type for classes of four or fewer students.

This course is at least three hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific rifle action type.

Students will learn the rules for safe rifle handling; the particular rifle model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the rifle; and continued opportunities for skill development.

Topics to be addressed in this course include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Rifle Handling
  • Rifle Model Parts and Operation
  • Rifle Ammunition
  • Rifle Shooting Fundamentals
  • Rifle Cleaning
  • Skill Development Continued Opportunities

In todays world, with the threat of social, and civil, unrest, increased violent crimes, and socio-economic uncertainly that perpetuates the criminal element into our communities that endanger us, and our loved ones, the time is NOW to learn, and continuously train, in self-defense principles and techniques.

Upon course completion, students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, Gun Safety Rules brochure, Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and Introduction-to-Rifle Orientation course completion certificate.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the SECURITY RESOURCES Training Academy’s Introduction-to-Rifle Orientation course, students who are not disqualified from possessing a firearm as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law.

Prerequisites:

  • Student must be 18-Years Old OR Older;
  • Non-Prohibited Person, Possession-of-Firearms.

Additional Student Requirements:

  • Students Personal Firearm/Rifle;
  • Ammunition, Approximately 100-Rounds.
