Presented-by SECURITY RESOURCES Training Academy’s Department of Security Enforcement, our Basic-of-Shotgun Shooting course is at least ten-hours long and includes classroom, and firearm-range time, learning how to shoot shotguns at moving targets.
Students learn the rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development.
Employment, and career, opportunities in security enforcement are in high-demand and considered an “Essential Service.”

Upon course completion, students will receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, Gun Safety Rules brochure, Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination, and receive a Basics-of-Shotgun Shooting course completion certificate.
To qualify for the SECURITY RESOURCES Training Academy’s Basics-of-Shotgun Shooting course, students who are not disqualified from possessing a firearm, as defined by applicable federal, state, or local law.
