Presented-By SECURITY RESOURCES Training Academy’s Department of Security Enforcement, our Use-of-Force, Level II course, the student will learn physical techniques, and tactics, designed to reduce the likelihood of causing injury to both resistant Subject and themselves.

This course is hands-on, addressing both individual and team tactics.

Topics to be addressed in this course include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Review of the Voluntary Compliance Interview™
  • Review of the Security Officer Confrontation Management Model™
  • Demonstrate Safe Method of Breaching the Reactionary-Gap and Establishing Control
  • Demonstrate One, Two, and Three Person Escort Positions
  • Demonstrate Proper Application of Principle Based Joint-Locks of the Arms
  • Demonstrate Proper Application of Restraint Devices on Resistant Individuals

Additionally, the student will learn how to safely escort resistant Subjects, safely breach the Reactionary Gap, and apply safe control techniques. Students will learn safe application of restraint devices on violent and resistant individuals.

The tactics are designed to fit with both the Voluntary Compliance Interview and the Security Officer Confrontation Management Model, as presented in USE-of-FORCE, LEVEL I.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the SECURITY RESOURCES Training Academy’s Use-of-Force, Level II, course, students must:

  • Be at least 18 years old;
  • Use-of-Force, Level I;
  • Associated with Security Enforcement/First-Response professions.

SECURITY RESOURCES Training Academy’s Use-of-Force, Level I, course is offered in the following manner:

  • Training Studio.

We offer this course in the following schedule(s):

  • Weekly, One-Day/Evening, Approximately 4-Hours;
  • Weekend, One-Day, Approximately 4-Hours.

Course completion consists of the following:

  • Course Completion Certificate upon complete course attendance. 

Course Objectives

SECURITY RESOURCES Training Academy’s Use-of-Force, Level II, course objectives are intended to leave the student with a better understanding of principles, and practices and use, of Use-of-Force approaches to everyday common threats and give an effective and illustrate strategies to reduce criminal prosecutions and/or civil litigations.
