Unarmed Security Enforcement: Florida Security Enforcement Officer Class “D” License Course
Presented by the SECURITY RESOURCES Training Academy – Department of Security Enforcement, our Unarmed Security Enforcement: Florida Security Officer Class “D” License Course is a comprehensive 40-hour education and certification program designed to meet the State of Florida’s educational, and examination, requirements for Unarmed Security Enforcement Officer licensure.
This course provides students with the fundamental knowledge and skills necessary to begin a career in security enforcement.
Training covers essential areas including:
- Physical Security
- Access Control
- Terrorism Awareness
- Emergency Response Procedures
- Report Writing
- Interviewing Techniques
- Crime Deterrence
- Accident Prevention
- And other essential security enforcement principles
Through a combination of instructional education and practical training, students will develop the foundational knowledge necessary to perform security duties professionally and effectively.
Certificate of Completion
Upon successful completion of the required coursework and final examination, students will receive a Certificate of Completion documenting their successful completion of the Class “D” security enforcement officer training program.
Students may then submit their Certificate of Completion, along with the required state application package, to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS), Division-of-Licensing (D-o-L).
Applications may be submitted online, in person, or by mail, subject to the requirements and procedures established by FDACS, D-o-L.

Online Livestream / Extended Bi-Weekly [Two-Week] / 10-Day / Evening Course Format
The Online Livestream / Extended Bi-Weekly [Two-Week] / 10-Day / Evening Course Format is designed for students who prefer the convenience and flexibility of attending classes during the evening.
This format allows students to complete the required 40-hour course over a two-week period, Monday through Friday, through live, instructor-led online classes conducted during evening hours.

Registration and Payment
Students may register and pay for the course securely using a credit or debit card.
For students who prefer a payment plan, PayPal Pay Later options may also be available, including PayPal Pay in 4 and Pay Monthly, subject to PayPal’s eligibility requirements and approval.
PayPal “Pay in 4”
PayPal Pay in 4 allows eligible customers to divide their purchase into four interest-free payments made every two weeks.

- Select Pay Later and choose Pay in 4, if available.
- Complete the required initial payment at checkout.

PayPal “Pay Monthly”
PayPal Pay Monthly allows eligible customers to finance their purchase through monthly payments, subject to PayPal approval and applicable terms.

- Select Pay Later and choose Pay Monthly, if available.
- Receive a financing decision from PayPal.
- Complete your course registration and payment.
- Use autopay for the remaining payments according to the terms of your PayPal financing agreement.
